How do you market this?

So, this is an excellent example of visual arts programming that creates an interesting quandry for standard marketing (much less standard curatorial work).  As museums and even performing arts institutions begin practicing this form of art, what are the marketing frameworks as set against the standard programs? Or does it become a separate campaign entirely? Is one to assume that a contemporary museum goer will naturally embrace this form? Or will this form, when practiced outside the walls (online, etc) excite a new generation?  (note:  it is a very baby-boomer 1960s model, so it may 'hail' that audience as well . . .)
